Conceito Unico is a white wine from the Douro region of enormous complexity, concentration and aromatic intensity. It is a velvety white wine, with aromas of ripe citrus fruits, such as orange peel, ripe apricots and balsamic notes. It presents notes of dried fruits, wet stone notes and great acidity.

Vineyards
Granite soils. Made from a special parcel of a very old, pre-phylloxera vineyard on a small granite plateau (altitude 600m) in Freixo de Numão, 15km west of V. N. Foz Côa.
Vinification
The grapes are hand picked into small boxes, before being cooled and then pressed in a pneumatic press, without destemming. Cold decantation followed by fermentation in temperature controlled French oak barrels and regular bâtonnage until one month before bottling, which took place in July 2016.
Aging
11 months in used French oak barrels, with regular bâtonnage. 6 months in bottle.
