Our Vintage has a beautiful, very dark violet color and strong aromatic intensity. Complex aroma, black fruit, floral and spicy. In the mouth, it maintains all its intensity without losing any energy or freshness. Well structured, like any classic vintage, it will certainly evolve in the bottle for several decades, but it is so rich and seductive that it becomes difficult to resist opening the bottle still young.

Harvest
For Port Wine, the 2019 harvest was marked by an extremely prolonged harvest. Harvest reports suggest that the quality of the white varieties is particularly good, while Touriga Nacional was also exemplary. In general, the fruit was considered deep and complex, offering good structure. The resulting wines are likely to be very successful.
Winemaking
Foot trodden in granite mills for 3 or 4 nights, with careful temperature control. Aged in oak barrels for 24 months before bottling.
