Color Straw yellow. Stone fruit, peach, quince and final with hints of honey. Intense, fruity aroma, with citrus and green asparagus notes. On the palate it is very enveloping, with a slightly saline character and very well integrated wood. Green asparagus notes with a hint of wood.
Produced from traditional grape varieties from the Douro Demarcated Region and from the highest areas (600 m) of Quinta de Vale de Cavalos, in an area of soil marked by the transition between schist and granite, to ensure its freshness. The aging in second-year French oak barrels gives it complexity and structure.
Winemaking
Grapes selected in the vineyard and cut by hand. Fermentation at controlled temperature.
Aging
30% of the lot aged for 6 months in second year barrels of 300 liters capacity, with ''Bâtonnage'' of the fine lees.
