A Douro wine, persistent and gastronomic, suitable for this season.

Bottled in August 2020, Pessegueiro Branco 2019 is the result of a harvest of a dry year (2019) characterized by large oscillations in temperature values and lower than usual annual precipitation.

Even so, the occasional rainfall during the harvest had a positive impact on the crop as it provided high quality and quite aromatic musts with higher acidity than previous years.

After being transported to the winery and kept in cold storage for about 12 hours, the grapes were partially crushed and transferred to stainless steel tanks where skin maceration took place until the beginning of fermentation with indigenous yeasts.

After pressing, the grapes were transferred to barrels where they finished the alcoholic fermentation and where they aged for 9 months with batonnage.
