Climate: 

The 2016 viticultural year began with a dry and mild winter. This was followed by an extremely rainy and cold spring. These spring conditions created many difficulties in controlling vine diseases, particularly downy mildew, and also vegetation control. It was a year of hard work in the vineyard and it was not easy to reach the ripening stage with the vines under control. The summer, on the other hand, was very hot and dry. Fortunately, the soil had reserves from the spring rains, allowing a very balanced ripening of the grapes.

Vinification:

The grapes come from two plots of the estate's 40-year-old vines with northwest exposure and an altitude of 150 m above sea level. After manual harvest in 25kg boxes, the grapes remained in cold storage for 12 hours
