This project was born from the desire of three winemakers (Jorge Moreira, Francisco Olazabal and Jorge Serôdio Borges) to make a wine together. The region chosen was the Dão region, for which they have a common admiration that was born when they tasted older wines, from the 60's and 70's, which surprised them by their elegance and freshness. The identity and complexity of these wines is indeed remarkable and served as an element of inspiration for the production of MOB wines.

Vineyard

The vineyards, totaling fifteen hectares (composed of 5ha of old vines located in Gouveia and 10ha of vines over 20 years old in Seia) are located in one of the coldest places of the Dão, the bottom of Serra da Estrela, at 550 meters of altitude, planted in granite soil with the traditional varieties of the region.


Vinification

Fermented in small stainless steel vats and oak barrels, aged for six months in barrels with slight battonage.
