Borges Vintage is a rewarding wine to those who work in the vineyards. It is produced only in years when the grapes are of extraordinary quality, resulting in a body, strong, distinct and intense wine, aged for a maximum of two years in small oak vats. The aromas are young and fresh, with notes of eucalyptus, menthol, and black and ripe plum. On the palate, it is balanced between sweetness and acidity, making it soft in the mouth. It is best served at 16-18ºC, and pairs well with full-bodied cheeses, chocolate desserts, and red fruit desserts. It also goes well with a strong cigar. Reviews and awards include 18 points in Grandes Escolhas Wine and 17.5 points in Wine Magazine.
