This white wine is made from a blend of Encruzado, Bical, Cerceal Branco, and Old Vines grapes. It is fermented in 70% new French oak barrels and 30% foudre, then aged for 11 months “sur lie” without bâtonnage, followed by 10 months in stainless steel tanks. The wine has aromas of citrus, cedar, pepper, and oak. It is crunchy and minerally with a creamy texture and a long finish. It pairs nicely with octopus rice and spicy curry dishes. It has received 18 points from Vinho Grandes Escolhas and 17.5 points from Revista de Vinhos. The ideal serving temperature is 14 degrees.
