One of the oldest and most remarkable Quintas of the Tejo Wine Region. This property was originally offered by D. Antónia Ferreira (Ferreirinha) as a dowry for the marriage of her daughter to the 3rd Count of Azambuja. Located in the confluence of Lisbon and Tejo wine regions, it has a magnificent terroir for the creation of superior quality wines. This wine is a monocaste from the French Cabernet Sauvignon grape variety.
The harvest is done manually in 20 kg baskets and with careful selection of the clusters. The wine was fermented in traditional granite presses. After the alcoholic fermentation, the wine is transferred to stainless steel vats until the malactic fermentation is over. It was then aged in new French oak barrels for 12 months.
