This white wine is made using three distinct grape varieties; Cerceal, Bical and Encruzado. The winemaking process begins with destemming and cooling of the grapes, followed by decanting at 12°C. Fermentation of the clean wort is then conducted in small stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 16°C, ensuring all the aromas and freshness can be preserved. The wine is characterized by a yellowish-green colour and aromas with tropical, floral and citric notes. It is known for its good acidity in the mouth and a refreshing finish. The Cabeça D´Velho White 2020 is a refreshing white wine from Portugal that stands out for its yellowish-green colour and tropical aroma. It is made from a blend of Cerceal, Bical and Encruzado grape varieties, carefully chosen for their unique flavour profile.
The winemaking process follows a traditional method where the grapes are destemmed and pressed, after which the wort is cooled and decanted at 12ªC. The fermentation is done in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 16ªC to preserve all the aromas and freshness.
The Cabeça D´Velho White 2020 has a yellowish-green colour and characteristic aromas of tropical fruits, flowers, and citric notes. It is pleasantly acidic in the mouth with a refreshing finish.
This white wine is perfect to accompany seafood and light dishes. Best served at 8° – 10°C.
