Moreto is the ex-libris of winegrowing on the left bank of the Guadiana, where it is still cultivated mostly at "pé-franco" (ungrafted vines). Perhaps that is why its wines are so aromatic, balanced and distinct. In this vintage it gave origin to the best wine for which we decided to bottle it separately, in order to honor the character of the grape variety and the ancestral winemaking practices that still persist in the region.
Mechanical treading, alcoholic fermentation in 10-ton amphoras with temperature control and complete tanning. Aged for 8 months in oak barrels.
