Old Vines

Moreto is the grape variety of the left bank of the Guadiana, where it is still cultivated mainly non-grafted (pé-franco). Perhaps for this reason, the wines are so aromatic, balanced and sensitive. The last harvest was considered the best wine of the Granja-Amareleja Cooperative, giving rise to a wine that was bottled separately to do honor to the variety and ancestral practices maintained in the region.

Vinification and Aging

Mechanical treading, alcoholic fermentation in 10 tons amphoras with temperature control and complete tanning. Aged for 8 months in oak barrels.
