Unlock the Bold and Intense Notes of Falua Unoaked Undated Red

Falua Unoaked Undated Red is a robust and complex blend of Cabernet Sauvignon from the 2016, 2017 and 2018 harvests. After being harvested, the grapes are cooled to 5ºC and kept at this temperature for 24 hours before being destemmed and gently crushed. This is then followed by pre-fermentation maceration at 10/12°C, and then alcoholic fermentation in small stainless steel vats with prolonged maceration. As a result, this unique blend of Cabernet Sauvignon has an intense and vivid colour and an intense but very elegant aroma, predominantly of black fruit notes, such as cherry and blueberry, and the aroma of black pepper and some tobacco.

Tasting Notes and Food Pairings

Falua Unoaked Undated Red has firm but high quality tannins and good acidity, giving it a high aging potential. The wine also has persistant notes of eucalyptus leaves and a slight aroma of green pepper. This blend pairs exceptionally well with red and game meats, cod dishes, cheeses and sausages. To bring out the bold and intense notes of this blend, serve at 16ºC.
