The Wine

A brand that is a signature. José Piteira is a master of the Alentejo wines. A self-taught winemaker, he learned by doing and developed his art with his own personality and stamp. He started making wines when he was still a teenager, accompanying his godfather. Today winemakers from other houses come to learn with him the ancestral techniques in winemaking. Anyone who knows his wines and work knows that he is also a defender of his typical grape varieties from the left bank of the Guadiana.
