Winemaking

With grapes from our best plots, fermentation took place at controlled temperatures with frequent pumping over. Aged in 225L French oak barrels. This wine is a reflection of the terroir and the particular conditions of the 2013 harvest in Alentejo. This wine was produced exclusively from the Syrah variety. The grapes were rigorously selected so they were in an excellent state of maturation. They were fermented without stems, at controlled temperatures, and regular destage, with an extended period of maceration of the skins to improve the fruit aroma and achieve a good balance and structure of tannins. It staged for 8 months in French oak.
