Vinification
The harvest took place on November 18 in small boxes. Vertical pressing of the whole grape bunches, natural decantation at 10ºC. Fermentation in French oak barrels. Aging in casks on fine lees until the blend is formed. Soft filtration before bottling.
Secret Spot Wines
It was born in 2004 by the hands of two friends, Gonçalo Sousa Lopes and Rui Walter da Cunha. They met at the University of Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro (Vila Real), where they graduated in Agricultural Engineering and Enology, respectively. Besides the passion for wine, they both share the taste for sea sports. Gonçalo is a sailor, and has already practiced bodyboard, and Rui does surf and longboard skateboard. The spirit of adventure and the search for the best places to practice these sports inspired the choice of the name for this unusual project in the area of wines: Secret Spot Wines.
