Madre de agua Jaen is a distinctive and sophisticated wine. From the Jaen (Mencía) grape variety where its aroma of dry vegetable, sarmento, pepper and cherry stand out. A firm and prolonged aftertaste.

This wine is from the Dão region of Portugal and is made with the Jaen grape variety. It is a white wine with a light straw color. The nose is floral with hints of white peach. The palate is fresh and has good acidity. There are flavors of citrus and stone fruits. The wine has a long, mineral finish.

It is a wine with a more robust stance a very marked ripe fruit aroma, with hints of cherry, an intense color and round balanced tannins and a very good persistence on the finish.

The aroma is very elegant, slightly floral. In the mouth, it is lively and acidic. It presents a good volume in the mouth, without being heavy, offering a perfumed, long and very balanced finish.

This wine is made only with Jaen grapes fermented with indigenous yeasts in cement vats and aged in cement and French oak.
