Harvest
The 2017 harvest started earlier than ever, with the white grapes from Quinta de Bandeiras being harvested from the 17th of August. The red grapes were cut right away. After a prolonged period of heat, a drop in temperature followed, which gave engineer Jorge Moreira the opportunity to interrupt the harvest for a day, in order to allow the grapes to develop aromas and complexity.
Winemaking
Fermented in stainless steel vats and aged 18 months in French Allier oak barrels. Bottled in August 2019.
