Vista Alegre LBV Port 2017 - A Rich and Complex Wine for Savoring

Vista Alegre LBV Port 2017 is a full-bodied red wine produced in Portugal. It is made from a blend of four grape varieties, Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz and Sousão. The grapes are hand picked and the traditional winemaking process is used ensuring a rich and complex wine with big aging potential.

Tasting Notes

Vista Alegre LBV Port 2017 is full ruby in colour and presents an intense aroma of black mature fruits. It has a very powerful structure, full of fruit, full-bodied, fat and round.

Storing and Serving

Vista Alegre LBV Port 2017 should be stored in a horizontal position, at a constant temperature and away from intense direct light. It is produced with a cylindrical, natural cork, like a Vintage Port. This is a traditional LBV, so oxygenation is kept to a minimum. Due to this the wine should be consumed in a few days after opening and decanting. The optimal temperature for serving the wine is between 14º C and 16º C.

Food Pairing

Vista Alegre LBV Port 2017 is a great pairing with several kinds of cheeses and desserts made from chocolate, cream, coffee as well as fresh fruits, red fruits and wild fruits, prunes and pineapple. It also harmonizes perfectly with ham and smoked ham.
