Vista Alegre Vintage 2003  presents a dark ruby color. Complex aroma, with notes of blackberries. The palate is velvety, bodied and fruity, with polished tannins and a long ending.

This single harvest Port Wine is hand-picked and made in accordance with the traditional winemaking process. The grapes are partially striped and trodden by foot in stone lagares. The fermentation is temperature controlled and stopped by adding brandy. This port is made from a combination of Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Tinto Cão and Tinta Barroca grapes and aged in oak barrels in Vila Nova de Gaia for at least seven years. It has a blond-red color and aromas of wild berries and blackberries. On the palate there are tannins and hints of vanilla and the finish is persistent and fine.
