Madre de agua Jaen is a distinctive and sophisticated wine. From the Jaen (Mencía) grape variety where its aroma of dry vegetable, sarmento, pepper and cherry stand out. A firm and prolonged aftertaste.

It is a wine with a more robust stance a very marked ripe fruit aroma, with hints of cherry, an intense color and round balanced tannins and a very good persistence on the finish.

The mix of existing grape varieties in our century-old vineyard gives Gauvé a unique and irreplicable profile. It is a wine where freshness and elegance predominate reflecting the main characteristics of the region.

The aroma is very elegant, slightly floral. In the mouth, it is lively and acidic. It presents a good volume in the mouth, without being heavy, offering a perfumed, long and very balanced finish.

Delicate and fine, it stands out for its fruity aromas with floral notes. In the mouth it is young with citrus flavors, becoming delicious and easy to drink. It also presents a long, intense and persistent finish, a particular quality of this variety.

This wine is made only with Jaen grapes fermented with indigenous yeasts in cement vats and aged in cement and French oak. It has an open red colour with mineral and earthy character, light pepper and delicate fruit. The wine offers elegant tannins, granitic minerality and long and precise acidity.
