Warre's Quinta da Cavadinha is one of the most renowned vineyard estates in the Douro, producing exceptional wines that are used to make Warre's Classic Vintage Port. In non-declared years, the estate's best wines are bottled as single quinta Vintage Ports, reflecting the unique characteristics of the Cavadinha vineyard and the signature Warre's style of fine elegance and aromatic bouquet.

Grape Varieties

This Vintage Port is made of old vines, and has a deep ruby/purple hue. When opened, it offers scents of licorice, tar and jammy black fruit. It is full-bodied and well-structured, with a classic style that makes it suitable for cellaring for 20 to 25 years.

Store and Serve Advice

This Vintage Port should be served at a temperature of 15 to 16 degrees Celsius.

Food Pairing

Vintage Port can be enjoyed both young and after several decades in bottle. It pairs exceptionally well with cheese, such as cream cheese, blue cheese and cured cheese, or with desserts. It can also be enjoyed on its own.
