The Marne Valley vineyard begins on one side, in Tours-sur-Marne, in front of the Bouzy spur on the last hills bordering the Champagne Pouilleuse plain, and on the other side, in Epernay, it develops toward Paris on both banks of the river, but mainly on the right bank and facing south and southeast. It descends along the flat slopes that follow the meanders of the Marne, sometimes approaching it as if to admire it in its greenish waters, sometimes moving away from it to snuggle at the bottom of small picturesque cirques.
