Warre's LBV 2009 Traditional Unfiltered presents a very deep ruby colour with an intense dark red rim. The wine displays Warre’s typically elegant floral scents as well as strawberry notes. The seductive palate combines ripe fruit with fresh, spicy flavours, perfectly balanced. The finish is mellow but pleasantly persistent.
Warres Unfiltered LBV Port 2009 is widely acknowledged to be the finest of its kind. Its production is done following the same techniques that have been used for generations – it is bottled without any fining or filtration after four years of aging in cask, and then matured in bottle for a further four years, granting it a unique and complex style that is very much akin to that of Vintage Port.
This Port is made using Old Vines.
