Quinta do Piloto is heir to the winemaking tradition of four generations of the Cardoso family in Palmela. Its wines are the result of lots chosen from 200 hectares of vineyards in the best terroirs of the region.

The history of Quinta do Piloto spans four generations of a family that grew up linked to the history of Palmela over a century. At the beginning of the century, in 1900, Humberto da Silva Cardoso left for Brazil to seek his fortune. But he returned soon after, as he had left. In Palmela he married Adelaide Carvalho Cardoso, daughter of an illustrious family of wine owners, where the restaurateur of the municipality scores.

Quinta do Piloto's promise is to give you a taste of the essence of Palmela wines at their best. A promise based on the excellence of the terroirs where the old vines of traditional varieties such as Castelão and Moscatel shine.
