This 2016 LBV Unfiltered is a delicious Port, rich and complex with gorgeous notes of blackberry and blackcurrant fruits and hints of spice as well. A minty freshness and dark chocolate add to the mix. This concentrated wine presents a broad, rounded texture that leads to a long aftertaste.

Quinta do Javali Vintage Port 2015 presents a deep purple color. Nose dominated by ripe black fruit notes, with hints of stewed plums and dark chocolate. The structure is characterized by great concentration and richness of ripe tannins. The palate is bulky and complex, woth a long ending.

Quinta do Javali LBV 2016 presents a dark color. Nose dominated by notes of ripe black fruits, jams associated with prunes, figs and balsamic hints. The palate is fruity, with intense presence of black berries.

Porto Pocas Vintage 2015 presents an intense ruby color. Floral aroma. The palate is marked by the presence of red berries notes with a slight hint of mint. Silky, well-balanceed and elegant wine.

We have a great Vintage on our hands, showing beautiful concentration, vigour and complexity, but with plenty of finesse and remarkable freshness. Compared to the 2011 vintage, despite the tannins also being very robust, the 2015 gives us a silky wine, with great structure and incredible balance thanks to its taut acidity and lower level of sweetness, which results in a fresher wine.

A concentrated, almost dark purple colour, with aromas of black pepper, spice and dark fruits such as plums and blackberries. Initially the palate is fresh with superb acidity and a wonderful expression of dark fruits, but follows through to a bold tannic mid-palate and finish, the sweetness and fruit very much dominated by tannin on the finish. This is a Port wine suitable for long cellaring.

The wine boasts a brilliant dark red appearance accompanied by a nose of bitter chocolate and dark fruits of the forest. On the palate it is medium sweet, with superb freshness and acidity following through to a firm, tannic and seemingly inexhaustible finish.

The wine is wonderfully ripe, full and exuberant, spicy on the nose, with very fine long tannins and a classic Noval purity and elegance.

Deep dark ruby-purple with a spicy and wild nose, with soft velvety black fruits, good freshness and balance. Great elegance and great power. Full-bodied and fleshy with firm backbone of tannins and a long finish. Very seductive and perfectly delicious now, but will of course repay decades of bottle ageing and reveal its full potential over time.

Dark ruby color. Fleshy, spicy, floral (violet), dark fruit aromas. Fresh and a bit peppery. The palate is sweet and fresh with vibrant fruit and some spicy tannins.

Color: Dark, Aroma: Deep ripe grapes, Taste: Full-bodied and elegant. It is an intense, mature and full-bodied wine. A positive aging in the bottle is expected for several years after bottling, acquiring its own character.
