Pó de Poeira Branco has a pale color and a very fresh aroma, which is projected with very elegant floral and mineral notes. In the mouth it is a very pleasant wine, full of sweetness and acidity, very floral. It also shows citrus combined with hints of ripe fruit. The finish is prolonged and persistent.

Sometimes we need to take risks, to “get out of line” and when that happens, irreverent and original wines are born at Poeira. This white was born wanting to be red but was beaten by its nature and despite its phenolic richness and lacy texture, it is today a fully-fledged white Douro with a long way to go.

It presents a straw yellow color with aromas of citrus, vegetables, and some notes with deep tropical floral perfume - all in great balance and style. In the mouth it is full-bodied and voluminous, with an acidity that makes it very fresh and tasty. Long and very persistent finish.

This Moreto varietal is from a single plot in a 50-year-old dryland vineyard planted in clay and limestone soil. It was made with indigenous yeasts and vinified in two clay pots of 1200 kilos, reflecting the character of the vine and the winemaking process in its aroma and flavour.
