Pó de Poeira

Quinta do Poeira is located in Provesende, along a slope in the Pinhão river valley. Its exposure to the North is a fundamental aspect for the style of wines that are sought to be produced. Fresh, elegant and reflecting the personality of their vineyard of origin each year. Pó de Poeira is the second stage in our adventure through the Douro which started in 2001 with the purchase of the Quinta and the elaboration of the first Poeira.

Winemaking

50% fermentation in stainless steel and 50% in barrels. Ageing: 6 months in French oak barrels. The possibility of producing high quality white and red grapes on the same farm shows once again the enormous diversity of the Douro, and how this diversity is found even in small properties.
