Oppaco is the first-ever red wine made by Soalheiro, marking a new chapter in our history. The goal was to take an innovative approach to the region’s red wines. We named this wine Oppaco, meaning ‘opaque’, to mark Soalheiro’s venture into the world of red wine. Oppaco has a bright ruby color and aromas of fresh red fruit with hints of spice.    

The Alvarinho grapes used in Soalheiro 9% come from small plots, located at an altitude of between 100 and 200 meters, and from vineyards planted in granite soil.
