This low-alcoholic rosé has a very open salmon colour and excellent acidity combined with a creamy smoothness from the fine lees. The aroma offers fresh red fruit, a slight floral and vegetal and discreet barrel notes. To get the best out of it, it should be served at 10-12°C and kept in a horizontal position. This versatile wine pairs well with fish, seafood, salads, sushi and pasta. It has been awarded 17,5 points in Vinho Grandes Escolhas. This wine has been created with manual harvest, light pressing of whole bunches, spontaneous fermentation in used French oak barrels and 6 months aging with weekly bâtonnage. The Monte da Raposinha Ensaio II Rosé 2020 is produced with a manual harvest and light pressing of whole bunches, followed by spontaneous fermentation in used French oak barrels and 6 months aging in the same barrels with weekly bâtonnage. Its main grape varieties are Touriga Nacional.
