This wine has a deep ruby color and expressive aromas on the nose, with floral, mineral and ripe fruit notes. In the mouth it shows the personality of the 3 grape varieties, floral notes, spices and tannin volume. Very persistent aftertaste. It is an intense, mature wine, specific to the ''Terroir'' of the Douro, with positive aging in the bottle for many years after bottling.

Lacrau Red Reserve is a wine from the Douro region of ruby color with good intensity. It has an intense and complex aroma recalling ripe red fruits involved by spices. On the palate it is a dry wine, with balanced acidity. Good mouthfeel. Very soft tannins that give it a long finish.

With excellent quality fruit like cherries and raspberries, followed by floral, smoky and sanguine notes, as well as earthy and sweet spicy touches. Clean, precise and deep, it has a tasty acidity, fine grained tannins, with a texture reminiscent of chalk with a vertical and juicy finish.
