This delicious sparkling wine is crafted with Bical and Arinto grapes, both chosen for their unique, distinct flavour profiles. The winemaking process consists of fermentation of the grapes in stainless steel tanks, followed by disgorgement and addition of the liqueur de tirage, which gives the wine its pleasant bubble.
The Flor de Lis Sweet Sparkling should be stored horizontally in a cold, dark place with a constant temperature. For optimal flavour and freshness, it should be served chilled at 6°C. It's ready to drink now but will develop further complexity in the bottle if stored for 5 to 7 years.
This light, fruity sparkling wine pairs wonderfully with a variety of appetizers and savoury dishes. It is an excellent accompaniment for oysters, smoked fish, salads and cheeses. It also makes a delightful aperitif, the perfect way to begin any meal.
