Oppaco is the first-ever red wine made by Soalheiro, marking a new chapter in our history. The goal was to take an innovative approach to the region’s red wines. We named this wine Oppaco, meaning ‘opaque’, to mark Soalheiro’s venture into the world of red wine. Oppaco has a bright ruby color and aromas of fresh red fruit with hints of spice.    

Intense and complex, impressions of ripe berry fruit harmoniously combined with vanilla notes from aging in oak barrels. First attack marked by the robustness and character of the wine. The acidity and structured tannin complement each other, making a harmonious and elegant set. All well balanced with the forest fruit flavors. It finishes full, persistent and with a attractive freshness.
