A typical Alentejo variety, Trincadeira preta (syn. Tinta Amarela) with a thin and fragile skin, causes it to rot if it rains and to become raisin at high temperatures. This “Trincadeira” was picked at the point possible, focusing on its fresh fruit side. A breeze of Alentejo freshness that was lost, but that was always here after all. Trincadeira... is not so Black after all!

Production follows a protocol of sustainable agriculture and yield is controlled and quality improved by hard pruning, removal of secondary shoots, and bunch thinning. At optimum maturity the grapes are handpicked in small boxes permitting the quality-control steps of bunch selection in the vineyard and on the sorting table. Powerful nose with black fruit notes involved in spices and tobacco. The intensity of Cabernet Sauvignon's freshness stands out in the mouth, followed by the silky texture of Alicante Bouschet, leading to an elegant and persistent finish

Wine of intense appearance and ruby hue. Aromatically it is fine and intense, suggesting exquisite red fruit, cherry and plum, complemented with notes of rock-rose and light spicy pepper. In the mouth it is elegant with firm and rich tannins, some vanilla and muscular tension, which elevates and prolongs the finish.

Ruby colored wine, with plenty of concentration. The nose is deep and complex, suggesting aromas of spices, wild flowers, macerated wild fruit and fresh notes of dehydrated orange. The mouth follows the profile of the nose, is dense, "full", with hints of chocolate and graphite well married in a set that ends long, with solid and polished tannins.

This wine presents an aroma of red fruits, cocoa, coffee and black fruit jam. In the mouth it reveals good acidity and prominent tannins.

It presents an intense ruby color, an aroma with minty notes, nuances of ripe peppers and forest berries. A palate full of volume, balanced acidity and intense tannins, well integrated into the structure of the wine, providing a long and persistent finish.
