Oppaco is the first-ever red wine made by Soalheiro, marking a new chapter in our history. The goal was to take an innovative approach to the region’s red wines. We named this wine Oppaco, meaning ‘opaque’, to mark Soalheiro’s venture into the world of red wine. Oppaco has a bright ruby color and aromas of fresh red fruit with hints of spice.    

This Trincadeira varietal was produced from over 50 year old vineyards, giving it a complex and fresh flavor with a vegetal aroma. Its taste is lively and intense, ending with a long-lasting finish.
