Vale da Raposa Sousao Red presents a deep ruby colour. Flavours of eucalyptus leaf and blackberries. Fresh, with a solid structure, but always balanced and harmonious. Vigorous but well integrated tannins that lead to a long ending.

Caldas Old Vines Red presents a ruby color. Aromatic wine with blackberries, violets and dark chocolate. Complex on the palate with notes of black plums and fine hints of coffee. Great and long ending.

A typical Alentejo variety, Trincadeira preta (syn. Tinta Amarela) with a thin and fragile skin, causes it to rot if it rains and to become raisin at high temperatures. This “Trincadeira” was picked at the point possible, focusing on its fresh fruit side. A breeze of Alentejo freshness that was lost, but that was always here after all. Trincadeira... is not so Black after all!

Production follows a protocol of sustainable agriculture and yield is controlled and quality improved by hard pruning, removal of secondary shoots, and bunch thinning. At optimum maturity the grapes are handpicked in small boxes permitting the quality-control steps of bunch selection in the vineyard and on the sorting table. Grapes develop and mature in the hot and dry Mediterranean climate...

Deep ruby colour. Great complexity and fresh aromatic structure with liquorice and blackberries notes. Intense, but delicate in the mouth, it presents a mineral hint and the fresh taste of the fruits.
