Oppaco is the first-ever red wine made by Soalheiro, marking a new chapter in our history. The goal was to take an innovative approach to the region’s red wines. We named this wine Oppaco, meaning ‘opaque’, to mark Soalheiro’s venture into the world of red wine. Oppaco has a bright ruby color and aromas of fresh red fruit with hints of spice.    

This red blend of Syrah, Trincadeira, and Aragonêz grapes from the best northern Alentejo plots is sure to please. Grapes are harvested in the morning and vinified in small stainless steel vats, resulting in a grenade colour and aromas of quality fruit combined with wood vanilla.
