Vinhas dos Utras White has a yellow citrus-straw color, iodine flavor, salt, linden. In the mouth concentrated dense attack, acidity cuts in the middle and stays until the end of the taste, salt, salt, salt and iodine, is a ""slap"" of sea.

Vinha Centenaria White's  vines have been planted in the crevices of the volcanic rock, just 50m from the sea.

Wine with an aroma of ripe fruit with notes of vanilla and cocoa and light wild. In the mouth, the fruit and its complexity are revealed, the soft tannins and good structure, with acidity on point, finish long and complex.

Portal de S. Braz Syrah  presents leather notes and a balanced body. In the mouth, still a bit young to reveal the potential of its variety, but still presents fruity notes of red and black berries. It is a very balanced wine that goes very well with meats and cheeses.  

Verdelho O Original White grown on the islands, with the mineral taste, salts that teases the palate, and the one with the unique perfume that made Verdelho be...Verdelho!

This wine is a tribute to the Abelharuco, a bird with an unique birdsong, a companion of the Alentejo grape harvest. Abelharuco Red wine has aromas of ripe red fruits. In the mouth it is presents great structure,  it is concentrated, with soft tannins and a long ending.

Arinto dos Acores Sur Lies White is an unique and unusual terroir, the vines are planted in the rock cracks at the foothills of the volcanic mountain, close to the ocean. They are protected from strong salty ocean winds by walls of rock, known as ""currais"".

Arinto dos Acores Sao Mateus white comes from our Sao Mateus vineyard which despite being south facing is closer to the base of Pico mountain, therefore having more hours of cloudy skies and the harvest date is always later and less ripe grapes.

Arinto dos Acores Bandeiras White comes from our Bandeiras vineyard, which despite being north facing, receives more hours of sunshine because it is further away from the mountain the harvest date is always more, the grapes are riper and the wines are more textured.

Climate Continental Mediterranean, hot and dry days with very cold nights. Soils Clay-limestone. Manual selective harvest in 20 Kg boxes. Transportation to the winery in cold storage truck. Direct pressing without crushing, with natural defecation. The alcoholic fermentation occurred at 12ºC in barrels with battonage.

Absent from the old books of grapes, Alfrocheiro was thought to be a recent grape in our territory. Today science demonstrates that it is one of the oldest, parent to old grapes like Castelao or Moreto. A typical Alentejo variety, Trincadeira preta (syn. Tinta Amarela) with a thin and fragile skin, causes it to rot if it rains and to become raisin at high temperatures. This “Trincadeira” was picked at the point possible, focusing on its fresh fruit side. A breeze of Alentejo freshness that was lost, but that was always here after all. Trincadeira... is not so Black after all!

Red VulcAnico has a ligh ruby color, nose with cherry alcoholic notes, iodine and clove notes. Fresh palate, medium texture with lots of salinity and fine tannins.

Castelao (sin. Periquita) is a local light coloured grape varietal that has fallen out of fashion in this era of big concentrated reds. Studies show that Castelao originated from this region, where it still remains the 3rd most planted varietal. Although, its current role in the local wines tend to be secondary. Guess is what is in the soul of the winemaker, expressing a balance between the grapes, the “Terroir” and the human intuition. In each harvest, Palpite is produced by selecting the best blocks of vines and the best barrels.

Greenish yellow colour. On the nose, it is very fragrant, with aromas of tropical fruits and light vanilla notes. On the palate it is fruity, a little mineral, good acidity, with a pleasant aftertaste.
