Quinta da Boa Vista Touriga Nacional presents an intense ruby in colour, the wine reveals rich and exuberant aromas, with floral notes that stand out in a background of wild berries and mentholated notes. Vigorous and complex in the mouth, with mature tannins and an elegant, fresh, assertive structure. A powerful and intense wine that gradually reveals its secrets over the tasting.

Quinta da Boa Vista Donzelinho has a deep cherry colour that heralds a delicate and elegant wine, whilst the nose confirms it, revealing good aromas of red fruit with notes of black peppercorn in a steady, balanced ensemble. Polished yet firm tannins in the mouth, bolstered by an explosive freshness.

A typical Alentejo variety, Trincadeira preta (syn. Tinta Amarela) with a thin and fragile skin, causes it to rot if it rains and to become raisin at high temperatures. This “Trincadeira” was picked at the point possible, focusing on its fresh fruit side. A breeze of Alentejo freshness that was lost, but that was always here after all. Trincadeira... is not so Black after all!

Production follows a protocol of sustainable agriculture and yield is controlled and quality improved by hard pruning, removal of secondary shoots, and bunch thinning. At optimum maturity the grapes are handpicked in small boxes permitting the quality-control steps of bunch selection in the vineyard and on the sorting table. Grapes develop and mature in the hot and dry Mediterranean climate...
