Aromatically it is pure and complex, suggesting notes of white meat fruit, quince, curdled apple and orange peel, wrapped by mineral notes of resin and wet clay. This Portuguese wine is aged in used French oak barrels and part in clay for 5 months. The grape varieties used are Touriga Nacional and it has a salmon colour, with aromas of red fruits, spicy notes and light balsamic. It is fresh and balanced with excellent volume and complexity.
