The Adega Cooperativa da Granja, with over 60 years of history, benefits from the excellent conditions that the Alentejo offers for the production of high quality wines, appreciated worldwide. The great recognition of the quality of the wines produced here happened in 1989 with the distinction of a wine ''Champion of the World'' in a competition held in Ljubljana, in the former Yugoslavia and, since 2007, the Winery has evolved with the modernization of the entire production line, while maintaining the traditions of the region, particularly with the production of carved wine - a tradition inherited from the Roman Empire - and the use of varieties so characteristic of the region.
