This 2016 LBV Unfiltered is a delicious Port, rich and complex with gorgeous notes of blackberry and blackcurrant fruits and hints of spice as well. A minty freshness and dark chocolate add to the mix. This concentrated wine presents a broad, rounded texture that leads to a long aftertaste.

The wine is wonderfully ripe, full and exuberant, spicy on the nose, with very fine long tannins and a classic Noval purity and elegance.

Deep dark ruby-purple with a spicy and wild nose, with soft velvety black fruits, good freshness and balance. Great elegance and great power. Full-bodied and fleshy with firm backbone of tannins and a long finish. Very seductive and perfectly delicious now, but will of course repay decades of bottle ageing and reveal its full potential over time.
